We’re excited to welcome Superior Building Services team to Exigent, further strengthening our presence in Ohio and expanding our reach into the greater Columbus market. Headquartered in Columbus, they specialize in boiler, chiller, and HVAC service and retrofit solutions for commercial customers across the region.

The new Exigent operating company will be known as Superior Mechanical and serves a diverse customer base across education, food and beverage, healthcare, government, and other commercial markets. Their strong local reputation, technical expertise, and commitment to reliable service make them a valuable addition to the Exigent group.

Superior will continue to be led locally by President Bill Detillion and Vice President Jason Abbott. We look forward to supporting their continued growth and strengthening our combined ability to deliver integrated mechanical solutions across Ohio and beyond.

This acquisition represents Exigent’s eighth acquisition since Huron Capital’s initial platform investment in late 2022 and reflects the continued momentum of the Exigent platform.
