We’ve partnered with Element to bring better visibility and cost efficiency to our fleet operations. This platform gives us real-time insight into vehicle usage and cost per mile—and helps us plan smarter replacements. By leveraging a twice-yearly stock order program, we expect to reduce vehicle costs by 5–6% across the platform.
GPS + Time Tracking Pilot Through BuildOps
We’re currently piloting a new GPS feature through BuildOps that allows for geofencing around job sites. This will make time entry easier and more accurate for technicians. The system also provides helpful prompts for techs to track their time in real-time—making payroll and project tracking more efficient for the entire team.
Exploring AI Tools to Support Technicians in the Field
The Service Council is reviewing two AI-powered tools designed to assist technicians directly from their phones. These tools can surface technical documents like unit schematics, parts lists, and IOMs—and over time, they’ll learn to provide even better support through AI-assisted answers to common field questions. If adopted, this could also enhance onboarding and training for new techs across the platform.
Five Straight Months of Sales Wins
We’ve just wrapped up five straight months of exceeding our platform-wide sales goal—a major turnaround from the start of the year. August alone exceeded goal by 17%, making it our third-best month of 2025. A huge thank you to our sales team for stepping up—and just as importantly, to the field and ops teams who continue to surface high-quality leads. This win streak shows that everyone plays a role in driving growth, not just Sales Engineers or BD leaders. Cross-selling and collaboration across OpCos have never been stronger.
New Sales Tool: Section 179 Tax Incentive
A new piece of federal legislation has reinstated 100% depreciation (Section 179) on newly acquired real property—including mechanical systems. This means some customers may now be able to fully deduct the cost of a major retrofit—with the limit raised from $1M to $2.5M. While we can’t offer tax advice, this is a powerful tool to raise with decision-makers considering HVAC upgrades, replacements, or retrofits. Everyone on our team—whether in Sales, Ops, or Service—can reference it when talking with customers.
